Polygon OMS launches fiat balances for 24/7 stablecoin conversion
Polygon added fiat balances to its Open Money Stack (OMS), letting teams and users hold USD onchain ahead of time and convert to stablecoins or send fiat directly without a new wire each time. Because funds sit inside the stack, conversion clears 24/7 instead of waiting on banking hours.
Use cases include cross-border settlement from a single US balance, staging payout batches before deadlines, and moving a working slice into Treasury onchain. Users fund via the same fiat rails and can hold either dollar or stablecoin balances from anywhere. Early access is available to Polygon OMS users. Learn more in Polygon's blog.
