💸 Get paid to borrow
Lista DAO is currently offering negative borrow rates across all its Ethereum markets - meaning users get paid to take out loans.
The affected markets include:
- wBETH → ETH
- WBTC & cbBTC → USDT/USDC
- USDC & USDT → USDT/USDC
This unusual situation allows borrowers to earn yield simply by borrowing assets. The mechanism works through Lista's lending emissions, which create a negative net borrow rate.
Users can supply collateral, borrow against it, and receive compensation for doing so - effectively reversing the traditional lending model where borrowers pay interest.
The negative rates apply to both Bitcoin-backed and stablecoin-backed positions on Ethereum.
