MetaMask has launched a significant update allowing users to pay transaction gas fees with tokens other than ETH on Ethereum mainnet.
Key features:
- Support for multiple gas tokens including USDT, USDC, DAI, wETH, wBTC, wstETH, and wSOL
- No ETH required for transactions
- Available on MetaMask extension v12.16
To access this feature: 1. Update to latest MetaMask version 2. Select preferred gas token 3. Execute transactions normally
ETH is no longer required for gas. But even further, you can now choose a token to use as gas for all of your MetaMask transactions. 馃
MetaMask Card Now Supports European Stablecoins
MetaMask Card has expanded its services to include European stablecoins EURe and GBPe.
