AnichessAnichess details M8-to-Base conversion ratio and top-up
Anichess has clarified the details behind its M8 migration to Base: every M8 balance is divided by 100, and any balance left below 5 is topped up to 5 so players don't arrive on Base with negligible holdings. The game says the shrink makes sense because the shop is coming soon and nobody wants to pay gas on tiny balances.

This accompanies the broader September 7 deadline for the main migration, which converts every 100 M8 on Abstract to 1 M8 on Base.
