Venus is partnering with Ceffu Global and SolvProtocol to let institutional BTC held in Ceffu's custody back borrowing on BNB Chain — turning custody-held collateral into on-chain borrowing power without self-custody or moving the underlying assets into the lending market. Following CertiK's audit notice, Venus confirmed the partnership powers a fixed-rate USDT vault backed by BTC on BNB Chain.
- BTC held with Ceffu can now support borrowing through Venus, opening a new path for institutional BTC liquidity on BNB Chain.
- The partnership extends Venus's collateral set beyond self-custody, tokenized equities, gold, and other custody-backed assets it has recently outlined for its on-chain credit markets.
