Velodrome sets October 15 deadline to bridge VELO to OP Mainnet
Velodrome confirmed that holders of VELO on Celo, Fraxtal, Soneium, Unichain, Superseed, Metal, Mode, and Lisk must bridge their tokens back to OP Mainnet before bridges are deprecated, with any xVELO left behind after October 15 at risk of being permanently locked. The team said the process is a simple swap: convert VELO on another chain to VELO on OP Mainnet before the deadline.
- Part of the wind-down of Velodrome infrastructure ahead of the merged Aero launch
- Follows earlier notices that VELO will cease trading on Binance and the @VelodromeFi account will be deprecated
