USDT0USDT0 resumes Ethereum–TRON transfers after Binance exploit pause
USDT0 has restored USDT transfers between Ethereum and TRON, lifting the temporary pause it put in place as a precaution following the Binance hot-wallet exploit. The company said the pause helped prevent the movement of stolen funds and that its infrastructure remains unaffected and fully secure.
- Earlier, USDT0 froze 6.18 million USDT0 on Polygon traced to the exploit and paused the Ethereum↔TRON corridor; no exposure was reported.
- The freeze and pause were containment measures, with holders' balances remaining backed 1:1 by USDT.
USDT0 is Tether's cross-chain USDT, and the Ethereum–TRON corridor is among its most heavily used routes.
