Synthetix protocolDAO recovers SNX stolen from Binance
Synthetix's protocolDAO has recovered the SNX tokens stolen from Binance in the exchange's October 2026 hack. The funds — roughly 8.4M SNX — are now secured in the protocolDAO Safe and will be sent back to Binance on request.
- The recovery was confirmed on X by Synthetix, which said it has notified Binance.
- The move mirrors broader industry efforts to claw back assets linked to the exploiter, after Stabilus's USD1 stablecoin froze $27M tied to the same incident.
