Osinachi's 'Signatures' blind mint is live on SuperRare

Signatures by Osinachi (@osinachiart) is live on SuperRare as a blind mint of 1,111 individually created and animated works, with the artist confirming collectors are already picking up pieces. The mint opened October 14 at 12 PM ET (5 PM WAT) at signatures.superrare.com, with works priced at $35 USDC by card or crypto and up to 10 mints per wallet.

After launch, Osinachi fixed an issue that left collectors holding only ETH unable to mint; ETH payment at 0.015 ETH per piece is now enabled, also capped at 10 mints per wallet.

Mints resolve into one of five types: a Fem (500), a Masc (500), a Neutral (100), a Newborn (10), or the single Seed (1). Inspired by Uli, the visual language of the Igbo people of Nigeria, the pieces are drawn by hand in Microsoft Word and animated in GIMP, reenacting tension as a departure from Osinachi's signature style. SuperRare hosted a live session with the artist at 11 AM ET ahead of the launch, with the drop also promoted by fellow artists.
