Slash Web3 launches stablecoin payment card app Slash App

Slash Web3 formally released its stablecoin payment card app, Slash App, with the tagline "Money Moves On." The full public release lets anyone download the app and issue a Slash / Crypto Card directly, enabling everyday purchases using stablecoin balances through a linked payment card. The launch was confirmed via PR TIMES, a tweet from co-founder @ykatou, and the official X account, with the project's X post noting that any user can now apply for and issue a card.

Newly added features include biometric login (face and fingerprint recognition, removing the need to re-enter passwords or PINs) and identity verification via driver's license, in addition to the My Number card. To mark the full release, Slash is running a launch campaign: a referral program that pays up to $20 USDC per invited friend (spendable via Slash Card), plus 50% off the physical card issuance fee.
