Safe Pro Policy Engine to enforce treasury rules onchain

SafeLabs says the Policy Engine is coming soon to Safe Pro: teams write treasury rules into their Safe account and a contract enforces them on every transaction — "a transaction outside policy will not execute, however many signers approve it." Planned at engine launch: recipient allowlists, spending limits, app allowlists, and time-delayed authority changes. The engine is in final testing, with design partners getting early testnet access and helping decide which templates ship first, per the intro post.

Safe amplified the announcement on X via retweet, alongside observer @rsquare, who framed the Policy Engine as one of two new onchain products from Safe — alongside Safenet — seven years after the launch of its Multisig smart accounts.

Safe Pro, SafeLabs' enterprise product for organizations running critical onchain operations across multiple Safe accounts, launched the week of 6 October with company-wide administration, audit history, and reporting, and support for bringing a Duo 2/3 multisig into the product. Altify and Gateway are early launch partners.
