Rocket Pool ships Smart Node v1.25.1, postpones Hoodi Glamsterdam
Rocket Pool told all node operators to update to Smart Node v1.25.1, calling it a high-priority upgrade for nodes running Lighthouse or Lodestar on mainnet and for anyone on Hoodi testnet. Full release notes are on GitHub.
The release postpones the Hoodi Glamsterdam activation that v1.25.0 had scheduled for 26 October 2026 at 17:42:48 UTC; no new date has been set. A Hoodi node left on v1.25.0 would follow the old schedule and fork off the network, so Hoodi operators must upgrade. The release also drops certificates related to the eMudhra issues and adds log filtering and volume-size reporting to rocketpool service.
- Client updates include Geth v1.17.10, Lighthouse v8.3.2, Lodestar v1.50.1, Nethermind v2.2.1, Reth v2.8.1, Erigon v3.8.1, Besu v26.10.1, Nimbus v26.10.2, Teku v26.10.2, and Prysm v7.3.1.
