Relay responds as Pump moves execution infrastructure in-house

Relay reposted a statement from co-founder Jason Maier acknowledging that Pump is bringing some of its execution infrastructure in-house, while pushing back on portraying the news as a story about a single app. Maier said Relay is a platform serving thousands of developers across wallets, payments, RWAs, prediction markets, perps, and trading, and linked a Dune chart comparing cross-chain latency between Fomo and pump.fun.

The response follows Pump.fun replacing Relay's cross-chain rails with its own in-house Pump Bridge for in-app trades after citing faster buys, fewer errors, and better fills. Relay said it continues to serve other apps and developers, including Fomo.
