Owlto Finance completed its Round 2 $OWL buyback and burn, transferring and permanently burning the bought-back tokens on-chain after the community requested the move. The team framed it as following through on a planned weekly round and indicated more buyback-and-burn rounds are ahead.

$OWL passes MEXC assessment; first rewards set to drop

Owlto Finance announced that $OWL has passed the MEXC token assessment. The first batch of Holder Reward participants—eligible users who deposited or bought $OWL on MEXC during the Aug 7–Aug 14 period—will receive 5,000 $OWL this week. Owlto Finance launched Owlto Swap 2.0, letting users bridge and instantly swap on the target chain without switching protocols, powered by the OKX DEX Aggregator. The upgrade supports 12+ chains (Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, zkSync, Linea, Scroll, Unichain, Robinhood) and 3,000+ tokens, with swap completion reported in roughly 0.4–1 second. Features include Owlto Shield (server-side block when price impact exceeds 10%), X Routing for real-time price comparison across 400+ DEXs, and built-in anti-MEV sandwich-attack protection.

Owlto completes first $OWL buyback, splits burn and stake

Owlto Finance completed its first $OWL buyback, moving all tokens on-chain to the address 0x15da33feae6a04004617d1f4c180d55520159e99. After asking the community to choose between staking or burning, the team split the tokens—50% burned permanently, 50% staked with all yield distributed to users who engaged with the announcement. The team says this buyback is the first of several rounds.
