Immutable to migrate Immutable Chain to OP Stack by 2027

Immutable announced plans to upgrade Immutable Chain from its custom Geth fork to an OP Stack-based architecture by mid-2027, targeting faster transactions and closer alignment with Ethereum's security, including 1-second block times. Optimism recapped the migration in its weekly ecosystem roundup (source).
