OpenSea Mobile is open to the public on iOS and Android, CEO Devin Finzer announced, arguing that onchain social graphs should be open rather than locked inside a single app. The self-custody app consolidates memes, art, trading cards, and perps across 25+ chains, letting users connect an EVM or Solana wallet, sign up with Gmail, or import existing pumpfun or FOMO accounts — ending the earlier invite-only waitlist.
- Users can bring their followers from other trading apps and import up to 15 wallets into OpenSea Mobile, or start fresh with a new non-custodial trading wallet — keeping wallets together, switching between them, and trading from whichever they choose.
- Referrals are live: inviters earn 25% of their friends' swap fees on every future swap via Mobile or web, while friends get 10% off swap fees through the invite link.
- A unified trader feed shows a token's holders across platforms alongside social profiles and cross-platform signals, and lets users follow any trader's trades.
- Perp positions opened on Mobile sync directly to the web app and back, so traders can open and manage positions alongside their tokens and NFTs and switch between the two surfaces, per OpenSea's latest demos.
- OpenSea amplified early tester reactions, including Otherside's note that the app brings more visibility to its NFT ecosystem.
