OpenSea joins Art Blocks Marfa Weekend with installations

October 1, 2026

OpenSea announced it is heading to Marfa, Texas for Art Blocks Marfa Weekend, running October 22–24 with three days of exhibitions, installations, and artist programming. OpenSea is partnering with Museum of Art + Light (@museumartlight) for installations by artists IDerech and AlexKittoe, with location details shared via its X post and the invitation to "see you in the desert."

The event extends OpenSea's ties to the Art Blocks ecosystem, which includes the Art Blocks x OpenSea Marfa residency program whose pieces mint on the marketplace. Specific installation details and venue information were not included in the announcement.
