An RFC proposes enabling $OHM bridging on Chainlink CCIP to Arbitrum, Optimism, Base and Berachain — networks where $OHM already lives. CCIP currently already moves $OHM between Ethereum and Solana.
The proposal was highlighted in OlympusDAO's weekly digest for Aug 31 – Sep 6, alongside other protocol updates.
OlympusDAO updated its Convertible Deposit Metrics page to show a conversion ladder displaying CD positions in the money, with both the $ value and the corresponding $OHM strike for each position. The dashboard is available via the dapp.
The update gives holders a clearer view of where CD positions sit against the current OHM price.
OlympusDAO highlighted buyback activity tied to an ethereum address (0x64aa...f1d5), reporting $156M in ETH buybacks spanning April 2022 through September 2026.
The data underscores the protocol's ongoing treasury deployment as part of its token buyback program. OlympusDAO shared the figures via its official account, pointing to the cumulative value returned to holders over the multi-year window.
An attacker exploited a smart-contract flaw to withdraw roughly 30,000 OHM (~$300,000) from the OHM bond contract at Bond Protocol; the funds were returned to the DAO the same day.
Olympus launched V2, introducing on-chain governance via the gOHM token (replacing wsOHM), automatically staked bonds, and cross-chain functionality for OHM.
Olympus introduced Olympus Pro, a bonding-as-a-service product that lets DAOs and projects take control of their token emissions and liquidity mining programs through protocol-owned liquidity (POL).
Olympus launched OHM through a fair-launch event (March 12–14, 2021) in which 50,000 OHM were offered to Discord members at $4 each, with 18,260 OHM added as initial liquidity via an IDO on SushiSwap.
