OKX promotes Shield with $500K account-takeover protection
OKX is promoting OKX Shield in the US, a voluntary program that can reimburse eligible customers for losses from qualifying account-takeover incidents — at no extra cost, with coverage up to $500,000 for eligible accounts. The exchange's latest post also points users to Proof of Reserves (PoR) to check the reserves backing their crypto, pairing account protection with reserve transparency, and links to a Shield activation page in the OKX app.
