Nillion launches Encrypted Markets for private onchain trading

Nillion formally introduced Encrypted Markets, its privacy product for onchain trading, announcing "Onchain, off-record" as it welcomes users to the platform. Encrypted Markets keeps orders, strategies and execution data hidden until a set condition fires, using Covenants on Ethereum mainnet.

• Phase 1 (Dusk) already went live on Ethereum mainnet in late September, enabling condition-gated trades whose payloads are revealed only when a price or time trigger hits
• The public roadmap spans seven phases, extending privacy to the execution and strategy layers rather than just transaction data
• The launch follows Nillion's move from its own L2 chain onto Ethereum L1, where the Encrypted Markets roadmap was first shared
