Metis launches Rise, monthly incentive for AI agent builders

Metis launched Metis Rise, a monthly incentive program that pays cash prizes to builders who deploy new AI agents on Andromeda Mainnet, acquire real users, and generate onchain economic activity. It runs as a 3-month pilot before a decision on long-term adoption.

• Top 3 ranked builders split a $1,500 monthly pool ($800 / $450 / $250), paid in METIS or stables; ranking weighs valid monthly active users (80%) and METIS gas consumption (20%)
• Minimum bar to qualify: 15 valid monthly active users, each with ≥3 qualifying transactions or ≥$2 settled volume (m.USDC, m.USDT, or METIS), with anti-Sybil and funding-source checks before payout
• Open to all builders, not just bootcamp alumni; ClawUp, GOAT AgentKit, and self-hosted backends all qualify, including dual-chain setups via GOAT Network and x402, as long as settlement and gas happen on Andromeda
• Organized by Metis with ClawUp, GOAT Network, and LazAI as ecosystem partners, with a daily-updated public leaderboard and a recurring builder livestream
