Anchorage Digital, home to America's first federally chartered crypto bank, has selected LayerZero as its interoperability partner for regulated stablecoin issuance. US-regulated stablecoins issued through the Anchorage platform — including Tether's USAT, Western Union's USDPT, and OSL Group's USDGO — can now be connected to 170+ chains, powered by LayerZero's OFT standard.
LayerZero followed up by framing the selection for banks, corporate treasuries, and payment providers that operate under regulatory oversight, arguing that stablecoin asset infrastructure must meet jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements. The company pointed to additional material detailing the partnership supporting regulated stablecoin issuance.
