KuCoin restores services after AWS infrastructure disruption

KuCoin confirmed that all services have been fully restored following an AWS infrastructure issue that began around October 13, 2026, the exchange said in an official notice. The disruption had caused some users difficulty viewing asset balances, transferring funds between accounts, using Convert, and accessing related features, including temporary problems switching between UTA and Classic modes.

KuCoin stressed throughout that user assets remained secure, with only certain asset queries and functions temporarily affected
Impacted areas included Asset Overview availability, some API asset queries, transfers between Classic and UTA accounts, Convert settlement, and some trading-bot operations
The exchange advised UTA users to rely on WebSocket channels and warned that balances and liquidation estimates could be inaccurate during the outage

With restoration now confirmed, normal access to asset overviews, transfers, Convert, and account-switching functions has returned.
