KuCoin completes USDT contract swap on Optimism

KuCoin has completed the USDT contract swap on the Optimism network, with user holdings converted automatically to the new contract at a 1:1 ratio and no action required. The swap, first announced on October 31, 2026, moved USDT on Optimism to a new contract address as part of the network's USDT contract migration.

• USDT deposits and withdrawals via Optimism were suspended during the swap, while spot trading was unaffected and the USDT ticker remained unchanged
• With the swap complete, deposits and withdrawals via the Optimism network resume
