Kraken lists Saffron's SFI token for trading
Kraken has listed $SFI, the token of Saffron, with funding and trading live as of October 23, 2026, following the earlier "coming soon" tease from its listings account. Saffron describes itself as a peer-to-peer risk adjustment protocol; in its current implementation each vault sits on a Uniswap concentrated liquidity position, pairing one side that takes an upfront payment in exchange for giving up potential fees with another that pays upfront for those future fees.
- SFI is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum used for governance of the Saffron DAO, with supply capped at 100,000 SFI
- Users can deposit $SFI via Funding on networks supported by Kraken; deposits on other networks will be lost
- Trading via the Kraken App and Instant Buy will go live once liquidity conditions are met; geographic restrictions may apply
