Pump.fun launches perps trading in its app powered by Hyperliquid

Pump.fun has switched on perpetual futures trading inside its app, using Hyperliquid as the underlying venue. Traders can now long or short crypto such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, plus stocks and commodities — including US equities, the S&P 500 and oil — through leveraged perp positions on the biggest onchain venue by volume.

• The launch extends Pump.fun beyond its meme-coin launchpad and spot roots into leveraged derivatives, with reports citing leverage up to 40–50x.
• Perps are accessible directly from the Pump.fun app, backed by Hyperliquid's order book and matching engine.
