GMX to deprecate v2.2b contracts on Sept 14
GMX announced that its v2.2b contracts will be disabled on Monday, 14 September. The v2.2c upgrade has been live on Arbitrum, Avalanche, and MegaETH since July, and integrators still calling v2.2b contracts directly should migrate as soon as possible.
- Trading in the GMX app is unaffected by the deprecation
- Deployment addresses for the new contracts were shared, with migration support available via GMX contributors on Telegram
- Integrators are directed to the Tech Announcements channel for relevant updates

GMX
The GMX is a decentralized exchange protocol that deployed on two EVM chains, Arbitrum and Avalanche. The utiitty and governance token for its Arbitrum ecosystem is GMX, which generates 13% APR for the users. On the other hand, the token for the Avalanche ecosystem is GLP, which gives around 21% APR. GMX also has an API for developers to tap into its infrastructure.
