Gearbox launches redesigned app for upcoming RWA markets
Gearbox has launched a redesigned app delivering its new RWA leverage experience, now live in early access ahead of the Securitize and Midas (MidasRWA) markets. The app offers one-click leverage, one-cycle unwinds, and async operations with a seamless UX even when an asset takes up to a week to redeem, plus richer data and the same security.
- The new experience runs on a completely new server backend that is not a dependency — Gearbox will continue to function as a protocol even with servers turned off.
- This is the next step in opening DeFi leverage to RWAs, which largely sit outside on-chain finance (88% of RWAs currently outside DeFi).
- Early access is available now; Securitize and Midas markets come next.
