EtherFi says weETH safe after MetaMask Staking node incident

EtherFi confirmed that weETH has no exposure and all funds are safe following a security incident at an Ethereum node operator. The incident hit MetaMask Staking (formerly Consensys Staking), which said it was responding to a compromise of part of its infrastructure and had taken precautionary steps to protect client assets.

• Lido said the affected assets relate to Ethereum validators operated by MetaMask Staking, which is proceeding with precautionary, out-of-order exits that may impact some rewards
• EtherFi relayed MetaMask's and Lido's statements alongside its own assurance that neither weETH nor user funds are affected
