ether.fi lets users pay by @name instead of wallet addresses
ether.fi launched @names, a handle system that replaces wallet addresses for sending money in the app. Users claim a name, then pay anyone and get paid by tagging that name — no address required, as ether.fi reiterated in its feature roundup.
- One name per account, and it cannot be changed after claiming
- Handle length depends on plan tier: VIP gets 3 characters, Pinnacle 4, Luxe 5, and Core 6
- Short names are limited and being claimed first
