EigenLayerBonsai 2 live on PrismML, runs on 16 GB Mac
Darkbloom's Bonsai 2 model is now live on the PrismML service via Yukon. It compresses Qwen3.8 27B to 8.5 GB while retaining 98.2% of its benchmark scores, making the 27B reasoning model small enough to run on a 16 GB Mac.
The Yukon community is now optimizing the model, which already runs 2.26x faster than its starting point. The optimization window stays open until October 1.
