The dYdX Foundation said it is migrating from Noble USDC to Injective USDC — native USDC issued by Circle on the Injective network — as the sole form of eligible collateral for trading on dYdX Chain. The move follows Circle's announcement of a deprecation timeline for USDC on the Noble chain and does not affect dYdX Chain operations today, including current balances, operations, or trading.
- Noble USDC will no longer be accessible via Circle Mint or CCTP starting January 13, 2027; dYdX is working with Injective to complete the migration before that date.
- Starting September 11, 2026, USDC can be bridged from Noble to Injective (and converted into Injective USDC) via Skip:Go, though Injective USDC is not yet usable as trading collateral on dYdX Chain.
- The Foundation warns against transferring Injective USDC to dYdX Chain until support is confirmed live, as those funds would be unusable in the meantime; an FAQ has been published on its blog.
