DtravelDAO announced its MCP server moves into testing this weekend, the first piece of the company's AI work hosts can actually try rather than just hear about. It lets hosts use their own AI assistant to manage listings — for example, asking how their prices compare to nearby properties, then instructing it to raise weekend rates five percent, and the assistant makes the change inside Dtravel. No new dashboard to learn and no separate SaaS subscription.

DtravelDAO shared that two hosts filing different disputes received the same rejection, with only the host's name swapped in the response. The identical language — "A member of our team reviewed the details" — suggests the decision was automated while presented as a human review, and the post highlights this gap between how disputes are handled and how they're described.

Dtravel has added a tool to its host app that scores how well a listing will perform in AI search and then tells hosts exactly what to change. The score measures how much of a listing's site a machine can actually read, and the tool adds the needed tags and makes specific recommendations. It's live now, though most hosts have not opened it yet.

Dtravel is launching a locally-owned Brazilian brand — not Dtravel translated into Portuguese, but a Brazilian host services business that has operated there for years, running on Dtravel's underlying technology. Eric detailed the launch in a video on X.

The Brazilian market gap Dtravel is targeting is payments: a large share of local short-term rental bookings happen over WhatsApp and settle instantly with PIX (bank-to-bank), while the global OTAs are built for a card-based payment stack the country mostly doesn't use. That mismatch is the reason the brand launching there is Brazilian.

Dtravel gave a real update on Saga, its travel-life app: it's an iOS app in alpha and working, and it automatically picks up your trips to build a picture of your travel life. There is no launch date yet because dev resources are currently focused on the host product.
