Zcash co-founder proposes ending Community Grants funding

Zcash co-founder Sean Bowe has proposed ending the network's Community Grants program, arguing its treasury of $125 million+ far exceeds the program's $1.53 million in quarterly expenses. If approved, the grants committee's 8% share of newly created ZEC would be redirected to a reserve for future miners rather than ongoing ecosystem grants.
