South Korea is considering a fourth delay to its cryptocurrency capital-gains tax, which would push implementation to 2029. Officials are concerned that users of domestic exchanges would bear the tax burden because the U.S. won't share crypto trading data until 2029, complicating enforcement for overseas activity.
No final decision on the delay has been announced.
