OKX and ICE, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, have filed with the SEC to launch OKXICE, a 24/7 blockchain venue for tokenized U.S. stocks. The regulatory filing lists more than 60 securities — including Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and Alphabet, plus crypto-linked names such as Coinbase, Circle, Robinhood, Strategy and Securitize.
The venue plans to operate under the SEC's five-year Innovation Exemption, which lets on-chain venues list tokenized securities with full shareholder rights without registering as a full exchange. No launch timing has been set, and TD Securities flagged open questions around liquidity and adoption.
