Google Multi-Party Compute — a security system designed to protect crypto custody — is now in private preview, with several major financial institutions testing the technology. Parent company Alphabet is already using it to secure its own digital assets on Ethereum and Solana.
The rollout comes as AI-driven threats to crypto custody grow. No details were disclosed on which institutions are testing the system or when it will reach general availability.
