Circle Signs Agreement to Acquire Cross-Border Payments Firm Tazapay
Circle has signed an agreement to acquire Tazapay, a cross-border payments company serving businesses across 100+ markets. Tazapay brings a payments-native team, 60+ banking and fintech partners, and meaningful stablecoin payment volume, with more than 60% of its volume in stablecoin settlements.
- The acquisition would add Tazapay's B2B payments rails to Circle's stablecoin ecosystem, deepening its push into cross-border settlement.
- Tazapay says it will keep the same product, support, and team, now with more infrastructure behind it.
