LG CNS, the technology arm of LG Group, has entered a strategic partnership with Chainlink to help advance Korea's ~$68B digital asset market. LG Group is one of Korea's largest business groups, with roughly ₩186 trillion in assets across 63 affiliates, and LG CNS is its lead IT services arm.
- The partnership builds on LG CNS's recently launched KITL digital-asset infrastructure platform, positioning LG CNS as an infrastructure provider for banks, securities firms, and card companies ahead of Korea's security token offering (STO) regime, which takes effect in February 2027
- Under the deal, LG CNS will integrate Chainlink technology that connects external financial data — such as exchange rates and fund net asset values — with blockchains, alongside its separate agreements with Circle, Securitize, Canton Foundation, and Chainalysis
- Marks Chainlink's entry into Korea's institutional tokenization push, following its Pacific Meta partnership in Japan
