Bitget SwapBitget Wallet launches USD & EUR Virtual Accounts
Bitget Wallet has launched Virtual Accounts — dedicated USD and EUR account numbers inside the wallet, provided by licensed partner Noah, letting users get paid and receive money without a traditional bank account. Noah touted the launch as giving "100 million people access to dollar and euro accounts" alongside Bitget Wallet.
Accounts work with existing payment rails: ACH and Fedwire for USD, SEPA for EUR, and SWIFT for international payments. Incoming funds are automatically converted to USDT/USDC and credited to the user's self-custodial wallet — no local residency or branch visit required. Bitget Wallet pitched a live test: sending 401.13 USD via ACH landed 398.87 USDT in the wallet in 6h 41m, calling it "self custody for money."
