Axie Infinity

Axie Infinity has entered Origins Postseason 18, wrapping up Season 18 battles. The Elite 4 leaderboard round begins Sept 6, with Morph Tickets teased as coming soon, and Collectible Axie Tickets are now available to view.

Terrariums V1.2 has launched, adding two new ways to boost Atia's Flame. Collectible evolved parts now grant more base Flame, and stacking multiple evolved parts on a single Axie multiplies it by up to 2.8×. Players can also connect adjacent Land plots into an Estate for an extra Flame boost.

The team also shared the Forest Theme track for Terrariums on YouTube, accompanying the V1.2 release.

V1.2 went live on August 19 at 3PM PHT.

Atia Original Crystal (AOC) redemption and summoning are now open on App.axie. AOC originally migrated from Ethereum to Ronin in January 2024, and 1,375 unrolled AOC let holders roll a new Origin on Axie Infinity — 5 AOC rolls 1 new Origin with six independent Mystic chances at 7% per part.

Axie Infinity notes today there are 1,376 Mystic axies across 413 owners, and that with AOC Summoning live, new Mystics could finally be born. The team frames the redemption as a piece of Axie history, letting holders roll their crystals one final time for a shot at a Mystic.

Axie Infinity has launched the Axie Vibeathon, a two-round online game-building event built around Axie Core. Individual builders create and host a playable Axie game using AI tools, with no programming experience required, and submit their entry for judging. The event is now live with registration open Sept 1–7.

• Prizes: a 20,000 bAXS pool shared across winners, finalists and prototypes, plus 250 USDC in AI-tool support for each Round 2 finalist (up to eight builders).
• Dates: Round 1 (prototype and vision) runs Sept 8–21; finalists are announced Sept 29.
• Judging: Round 1 is weighted on Axie Core fit (35%), gameplay (25%), product vision (20%), feasibility (10%) and prototype/documentation quality (10%).
• Winners' ideas can become ecosystem integrations or standalone games.

Rewards from the Axie × Good Vibes Club Pin Drop event have been distributed to eligible winners who had their wallet connected to their profile. Winners can check their wallets and equip the new accessories now.

The Origins S18 mystic era collectible chests have been distributed. Eligible mystic Axie holders can now claim them in their mailbox as they push for the leaderboards heading into the Final Era.

Axie Classic Competitive Season 16 is live, with 36K bAXS on the line as the final season of the second Competitive Circuit. The Season Leaderboard runs August 12–September 2 and Mini Tournaments run August 13–September 10.

After Season 16 and its Mini Tournaments wrap, Axie Infinity said it will pause regular competitive seasons and active development for Axie Classic, and Classic quests will be removed from the Bounty pipeline.
