South Korea's Financial Services Commission (FSC) has published rules allowing stocks, bonds, and funds to be issued and circulated onchain beginning February 2027, with Avalanche at the center of the framework. The FSC is also bringing the country's central securities depository onchain, with KSD (Korea Securities Depository) building on Avalanche, laying the groundwork for national capital-markets infrastructure to run on distributed ledgers. The move targets Korea's $5T+ stock market, signaling a path for mainstream securities to move onto the network.
