Ambire opens Snapshot vote on $stkWALLET contract migration
The Snapshot vote on Ambire's proposal to replace its two-token staking setup with a single standalone $stkWALLET contract is now live, closing November 7. Staking currently runs through the legacy $xWALLET pool-share model — roughly 1 $xWALLET ≈ 21 $WALLET — and the plan is to deploy the new contract, migrate all staked balances from both $xWALLET and the current $stkWALLET wrapper via a one-click migration from the token page, and retire $xWALLET for good.
- Terms stay the same: 2% APY, full voting power for $stkWALLET, reduced Swap & Bridge fees, a 30-day leave period, and instant (rage) leave at a 50% exit fee
- New contract will be audited before launch, expected live "in the coming months" if approved
- A follow-up vote will set the migration deadline; if the vote fails, the current setup stays in place
