Alchemy said on X that during the record ~$6.3B Binance hot-wallet hack it spotted the situation within minutes and was ready to support Binance and other affected teams. Framing the episode as a case study in incident readiness — "incident readiness starts before the incident" — Alchemy's Silvia Vlachou noted the breach began with a compromised endpoint reaching the withdrawal path: no private keys leaked, yet funds left across more than ten chains in roughly 20 minutes, with freezes starting in under an hour.
