Alchemy provides RPC infrastructure for Upbit's GIWA L2 testnet
Alchemy is partnering with GIWA — the new Ethereum Layer 2 from Upbit (operated by Dunamu, one of the world's largest crypto exchanges) — and GIWA's testnet is now live with Alchemy-powered RPC and WebSockets plus developer tooling. Alchemy shared the news on X in a thread describing the infrastructure as industry-leading and developer-focused.
GIWA — short for Global Infrastructure for Web3 Access — is an OP Stack-based L2 introduced at the Upbit D Conference, designed for faster transactions while settling on Ethereum. The partnership gives GIWA builders Alchemy's infrastructure from the testnet stage, ahead of its mainnet rollout.
