Alchemy launches Tokyo region with APAC focus and DSRV partnership

Alchemy is now live in Tokyo, with APAC traffic automatically routed to the closest region — no new endpoint or configuration required. Alchemy reports up to 8x lower median latency, roughly 70ms faster requests, and up to 76% lower p95 latency for traffic originating from Japan, positioning the rollout as its widest chain coverage in Asia.

The launch is part of a broader push into APAC, which Alchemy calls "the epicenter of onchain finance" — citing that nearly two-thirds of the record $4.5 trillion in global stablecoin transfer volume in Q1 '26 originated from the region. It also announced a partnership with DSRV to bring its infrastructure directly to teams in Korea and Japan, citing customers like Bitget (125M+ users) as beneficiaries of ultra-reliable, low-latency infra across chains.
