AaveCoinbase Tokenized Stocks live as Aave V4 Base collateral
Coinbase Tokenized Stocks are live as collateral on Aave V4 on Base, letting eligible non-U.S. users deposit AAPLc, AMZNc, GOOGLc, METAc, MSFTc, NVDAc, and TSLAc and borrow USDC against them. Aave DAO has now approved incentives for the market, with Aave amplifying on X that rewards are live on the Coinbase stocks via Base on Aave.
- Rewards apply to V4's Equities Hub; the stock tokens are collateral-only and not borrowable
- The V4 instance was deployed by Aave Labs with risk analysis by LlamaRisk, and Chainlink provides tokenized equity pricing carrying both the share price and the issuer multiplier
- Founder Stani Kulechov, Base creator Jesse Pollak, and Aave contributor Luigi DeMeo amplified the launch, framed as a step toward bringing the $150 trillion global equities market onchain
