AaveAave launches official V3/V4 MCP server for AI agents
Aave has launched an official MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that lets AI tools and agents interact with the protocol, live across both Aave V3 and V4. It connects to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible tool to read protocol data, manage positions, and prepare transactions — the first MCP server to support V4, with Chainlink amplifying the launch.
- Powered by Chainlink, CowSwap, and others for pricing and swaps; non-custodial by design, returning unsigned transactions for the user's wallet (e.g. MetaMask MCP) to approve.
- No API key or signup required; it answers queries like a wallet's health factor in seconds versus the ~125k tokens and ten minutes it previously took.
- Founder Stani Kulechov introduced it as Aave Agents, with partner CoWSwap amplifying it as a big upgrade for DeFi.
