AaveAave Labs submits legal framework for DeFi lending to SEC
Aave Labs, together with Veda Labs and Kamino, submitted a legal framework covering decentralized lending protocols and non-custodial vaults to the SEC's Crypto Task Force and Division of Corporation Finance. The paper explains how existing law applies to onchain lending protocols and vaults as they operate today, and why getting this right for DeFi matters. Founders and contributors amplified the submission on X.
