ParaSwap Enhances Security and Trading Experience with Augustus V6.1 Upgrade
ParaSwap, a decentralized finance (DeFi) middleware and aggregator, has announced the release of Augustus V6.1, a significant upgrade to its platform. The new version has undergone rigorous security audits and formal verification by leading security firms, including Certora, Hexens, PeckShield, HackenClub, and AstraSecAI, confirming its adherence to the highest security standards. ParaSwap is also the first DEX aggregator to be formally verified by Certora. The upgrade introduces several security enhancements, such as a pausable feature for accelerated threat response, and a timelock for admin actions to prevent instant changes. Additionally, Augustus V6.1 delivers improved gas efficiency, integration scalability, and an enhanced trading experience by reducing trade reversals and increasing reliability. ParaSwap has also teased upcoming updates, including enhancements to the fee-claiming mechanism, handover of V6.1 contracts to the DAO, and bolstered MEV resistance with the help of Portikus.
